It is an excellent adaptation
Synopsis
In the timeless city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family cope with love, oblivion and the inevitability of their past and their communities of destiny by constructing props and sets for the series.
They also adapt the events of the book with devotion, using resources such as conceptual shots to complement the narrative
We begin with impressive photography, a good representation of the scenarios and a creative direction with an approach that respects the original work.
At the same time, it respects, in ethnic and cultural terms, what makes Colombia as a people and society
Traditions, music, food and the diversity of races are part of the Macondo universe, as well as the history that makes up the years of a violent past in Colombia.
This gives way to the chronology that is perfectly threaded, resulting in a product somewhat different in content, but not with a negative connotation for the development of the story
In fact, it is a work of devotion and great fidelity to the original, which evokes nostalgia for One Hundred Years of Solitude and the artistic impact it had on subsequent generations influenced by Latin American literature and the work of García Márquez.
